Verification process
Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity to determine you are the same person about whom we have the information in our system. These verification efforts require us to ask you to provide information so that we can match it with the information you have previously provided us. For instance, depending on the type of request you submit, we may ask you to provide certain information so that we can match the information you provide with the information we already have on file, or we may contact you through a communication method (e.g. phone or email) that you have previously provided to us. We may also use other verification methods as the circumstances dictate.
We will only use the personal information provided in your request to verify your identity or authority to make the request. To the extent possible, we will avoid requesting additional information from you for the purposes of verification. If, however, we cannot verify your identity from the information already maintained by us, we may request that you provide additional information for the purposes of verifying your identity, and for security or fraud prevention purposes. We will delete such additionally provided information as soon as we finish verifying you.

We may retain platform data from one or more platforms such as Discord, Guilded, Slack, Twitter, etc. for the purpose of providing the service. This data may include, but is not limited to, unique identifiers such as platform User IDs.
Data You Provide: To request the deletion of data you have provided, please use the applicable platform deletion option or contact us.
Analytical and Debug Data: We may utilize internal identifiers for the purpose of analyzing your usage and for the purpose of debugging. This data can be removed by contacting us, however, please note that doing so will result in loss of access to some or all of our services.
Moderation Data: We collect data for the purposes of server moderation, such as message logging. This data is stored in our system's cache for less than 60 seconds or the time it takes the Discord API to respond to our request to send a message, whichever is less. Any data that has been logged becomes the responsibility of the server staff utilizing the message logs and Azrael no longer controls the retention of the data in their logs. Any data collected is automatically scrubbed of Personally Identifiable Information ("PII") and no PII is ever recorded by our systems.
Other Data: We are unable to delete this data while it is still necessary to the service, however, this data is purged from our systems when it is no longer necessary.
This section shall supersede the prior portion of Section 10 and only applies to the "Azcord" service in specific.
In Short: We may retain platform data such as unique identifers and message data for the duration it is required for the service.
We may retain platform data fromone or more platforms such as Discord, Guilded, Slack, Twitter, etc. FOr the purpose of providing the service. This data may include, but is not limited to, unique identifiers such as platform User IDs and platform content.

Analytical and Debug Data: We may utilize internal identifiers for the purpose of analyzing your usage, debugging and user safety. This data can be removed by contacting us, however, please note that doing so will result in loss of access to some or all of our services.
Content Data: We collect data for the purposes of providing a chat based service, hereinafter reffered to as the "Chat". This data may include message content, message IDs, attachment content and other information you send while using the Chat This data can be removed by you for up a limited time after providing it to the Chat, for the safety and security of our users, we limit the timeframe you can delete this data. You may request the deletion by contacting Azcord Trust and Safety via the "Request" feature.
When is this data deleted? Content Data such as message content and attachments, is deleted 30 days from the date it is received. Metadata content, such as message, channel, guild, user identifiers associated with the message is deleted 45 days from the date it is recorded.
Other Data: We are unable to delete this data while it is still necessary to the service, however, this data is purged from our systems when it is no longer necessary.
In Short: Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.
We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Revised" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes to this privacy notice, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification.
